Abstract:	The study analysed the content of ascorbic acid in freshly squeezed juices of the most common types of citrus fruits consumed in Ukraine. The vitamin C level was determined by iodometric titration for five randomly selected fruits of each species. The results showed significant interspecific differences: Citrus sinensis contained the highest amount of ascorbic acid, and Citrus limon had 38% higher levels of vitamin C compared to Citrus aurantiifolia. Citrus paradisi and Citrus sweetie were similar. The findings confirm the influence of genetic and environmental factors.
Description:	У дослідженні проаналізовано вміст аскорбінової кислоти у фрешах найбільш поширених видів цитрусових, споживаних в Україні. Визначення рівня вітаміну С проводилося методом йодометричного титрування на п'ять випадково відібраних плодів у кожному виді. Результати показали значні міжвидові відмінності: Citrus sinensis містив найбільшу кількість аскорбінової кислоти, а Citrus limon мав на 38% вищий рівень вітаміну C порівняно з Citrus aurantiifolia. Отримані дані підтверджують вплив генетичних та екологічних факторів.
