Qualification work: 67 pages, 5 tables, 6 figures, 3 appendices, 30 literary sources. Purpose of the study: theoretical and empirical identification of the features of emotional intelligence as a component of the leadership potential of future specialists, as well as the development of recommendations for the development of emotional intelligence of future specialists. Object of the study: leadership potential of future specialists. Subject of the study: emotional intelligence as a component of the leadership potential of future specialists. To achieve the goal and implement the tasks, the following research methods were used: theoretical methods: analysis, comparison, classification, specification, systematization, generalization of scientific, psychological, methodological literature, as well as publications and articles related to the chosen topic; empirical methods: the test "I am a Leader", developed by A. Lutoshkin; methodology "Determining the level of emotional intelligence", developed by N. Hall; questionnaire "Diagnostics of emotional maturity", developed by O. Chebykin; methods of mathematical and statistical data processing: Fisher's angular transformation coefficient. Practical significance of the results obtained. The results of the study can be used by various categories of people who study and develop emotional intelligence and leadership potential. In particular, higher education teachers can apply the obtained data during the development and implementation of training courses and practical classes aimed at the development of emotional intelligence and the formation of leadership qualities of students. Practical recommendations can be used by psychologists of educational institutions during diagnostic work, individual counseling and group trainings on the development of emotional self-regulation, empathy, communication skills and team interaction. The results of the activity can also be implemented in student self-government programs, leadership schools and project activities, where skills in organizing group work, interpersonal interaction and responsible decision-making are formed. The conclusions can also be useful to students as guidelines for self-development, awareness of their own emotional resources and purposeful formation of leadership potential in the process of professional development.
