Assessment of agricultural lands as the basis of Ukraine’s food supply

Abstract

The methodology for calculating the optimal values of natural, ecological and economic elements of the food system of Ukraine, which are the basis of the activity of agricultural enterprises, is given. Criteria for the efficiency of agricultural land use based on the interaction of these elements were formulated and the regional structure of the country's food supply was determined. Regions are grouped by the level of food self-sufficiency, and agricultural enterprises are grouped by the area of crops planted in their farming system
