Abstract: Личинки Chironomus є важливим кормом для молодняку багатьох видів риб, що визначає підвищений попит на цей вид природного корму. Були проведенні дослідження впливу пастеризації мулу, перед його заселенням, на розвиток личинки Chironomus. Після пастеризації поживного середовища у ньому зменшується кількість кисню, що негативно впливає на розвиток личинки. Для інтенсифікації нарощування біомаси Chironomus на мулі після пастеризації необхідно проводити аерацію надосодової рідини.
Description: Chironomus larvae are an important food for young stock of many fish species, which determines the increased demand for this type of natural food. Studies have been carried out on the effect of pasteurization of the sludge, prior to its settlement, on the development of the Chironomus larva. After pasteurization of the nutrient medium, the amount of oxygen in it decreases, which negatively affects the development of the larva. To intensify the build-up of Chironomus biomass on a mule, after pasteurization, it is necessary to aerate the supernatant fluid.
