| Abstract: | Історія кольоронайменування стверджує, що на ранніх щаблях розвитку всі мови світу розрізняли тільки два кольори: білий і чорний. Один використовувався для позначення всіх світлих кольорів, а інший - для темних. Пізніше з’явилося поняття червоного кольору і його відтінків. Надалі були сформовані терміни для розрізнення більш тонких відтінків. В словниковий склад англійської мови в давнину входило 11 найменувань кольорів. У сучасній фразеології найбільш вживаними кольорами є чорний, червоний, білий, блакитний і зелений. Дослідження історії виникнення фразеологічних одиниць із колоронімом показало, що ФО із колоронімом в англійській мові можуть відноситися до споконвічно англійським, міжмовним запозиченням і внутрішньомовним запозиченням (ФО, що прийшли з американського і інших варіантів англійської мови) [4; 6]. Основною темою нашої роботи є вивчення ролі фразеологічних одиниць із колоронімом в конкретному контексті. |
| Description: | The history of color naming states that in the early stages of development, all the languages of the world distinguished only two colors: white and black. One was used to indicate all light colors and the other was used for dark colors. Later, the concept of red and its shades appeared. In the future, terms were formed to distinguish between subtle shades. The vocabulary of the English language included 11 names of colors in ancient times. In modern phraseology the most commonly used colors are black, red, white, blue and green. A study of the history of phraseological units with colronyms has shown that FDs with colronyms in English may refer to native English, interlingual borrowing, and interlingual borrowing (FD that came from American and other English variants) [4; 6]. The main theme of our work is to study the role of phraseological units with colronyms in a specific context. |
