Abstract

Підручник складається із двох частин — загальної біотехнології і спеціальних біотехнологій. Загальна біотехнологія включає розділи «Основи молекулярної біології», «Клітинна інженерія» та «Основи генетичної інженерії», які є теоретичним підґрунтям біотехнологій, що розробляються, уже розроблені і постійно удосконалюються для тваринництва, ветеринарної медицини і захисту навколишнього середовища. Кожний із 24 розділів підручника містить контрольні питання для самоперевірки знань, а викладений в них матеріал скерований на підготовку конкурентоспроможних фахівців. В підручнику є іменний, предметний покажчики та словник термінів.

The textbook consists of two parts: general biotechnology and specialized biotechnologies. The general biotechnology section covers "Fundamentals of Molecular Biology," "Cell Engineering," and "Fundamentals of Genetic Engineering," which serve as the theoretical foundation for biotechnologies—whether currently under development, already established, or undergoing continuous improvement—applied in animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, and environmental protection. Each of the textbook's 24 chapters includes review questions for self-assessment, and the material is designed to train competitive professionals. The textbook also features an index of names, a subject index, and a glossary of terms.
