Дирофіляріозна інвазія в концепції єдиного здоров’я

Abstract

Методи діагностики дирофіляріозу у тварин основані на виявленні мікрофілярій у периферичній крові. Однак, у хворих собак личинки можуть бути відсутні (за сезонних, добових коливань кількості мікрофілярій у крові, за одностатевих інвазій, активної імунної відповіді організму проти личинок, за використання мікрофілярицидних препаратів та ін.). Тому для захисту здоров’я тварин та людини, необхідно розробляти методи боротьби з дирофіляріозом. Актуальності обраній темі роботи додає також щорічне збільшення кількості хворих та широке розповсюдження даного гельмінтозу-зоонозу.Diagnostic methods for dirofilariasis in animals are based on the detection of microfilariae in peripheral blood. However, larvae may be absent in infected dogs (due to seasonal or diurnal fluctuations in blood microfilaria counts, single-sex infections, an active host immune response against the larvae, the use of microfilaricidal drugs, etc.). Therefore, developing methods to combat dirofilariasis is essential for protecting the health of both animals and humans. The relevance of this topic is further underscored by the annual increase in the number of cases and the widespread prevalence of this zoonotic helminth infection.
