The role of interdisciplinary research in the formation of methodology of Ukrainian fairy tale science

Abstract

In the section of the collective monograph, attention is paid to the issues of interdisciplinary study of the Ukrainian folk tale as a cultural phenomenon. The analysis of the works of scientists of the 19th century in the genesis of the formation of the methodology of Ukrainian fairy-tale studies was carried out. Collections of fairy tales, which have become samples of academic work of scientists with folk tales, have been identified.
