Анотація
The article deals with neologisms of the English language; traced and analyzed the classifi cations of neologisms by way of creation; the notion “phonological neologism” is specifi ed; the productivity of the formation of new words according to the phonological method was found.

У статті йдеться про неологізми англійської мови; простежено та проаналізовано класифікації неологізмів за способом творення; уточнено поняття “фонологічний неологізм”; виявлено продуктивність утворення нових слів згідно з фонологічним способом.
