| Abstract: | Перекладні термінологічні словники виконують функцію інструмента перекладу науково- технічного тексту, який неможливий без перекладного словника. Для науково-технічного перекладу, як одного із видів міжнародної комунікації, важливим питанням залишається розвиток термінографії і лексикографії. Досі існує потреба в розроблені методики укладання словників і створення електронних терекладних термінологічних галузевих словників, де основною мовою перекладу є українська. У статті проаналізовано досвід укладання паперових перекладних багатомовних галузевих словників, що може слугувати допомогою при укладанні електронного словника. З’ясовано джерела літератури, які можуть бути застосовані для складання словникового реєстру. Проаналізовано вже видані паперові перекладні сільськогосподарські словники з такими мовами перекладу як: українська, російська та англійська. Основна увага приділена українсько-англійським-англійсько-українським словникам. Дослідження пов’язане із процесом складання реєстру, відбору реєстрових слів та укладання словникової статті для перекладного електронного галузевого багатомовного інтерактивного словника. Встановлено об’єми реєстру для початкової роботи та запропоновано структур подачі словникової статті в електронному словнику. Визначено методи відбору слів та вирішено основні проблеми перекладу словосполучень, абревіатур та безеквівалентної лексики, що відібрано для реєстру словника. |
| Description: | Dictionaries of industrial terms are of great importance now days. They are used by translators being the main tools of scientific and industrial text translation and it would be impossible without them in the process of international communication. The matter of lexicography and terminology development is still important for scientists. There is a need of electronic dictionary compiling methodology and its programming where the main languages of translation are Ukrainian and English. The article highlights the matters of an electronic interactive multilingual dictionary of industrial terms and the tradition of electronic dictionaries compiling. The literary sources have been analyzed especially published agricultural paper dictionaries (with such languages of translation as: Ukrainian, Russian, English), articles and manuals for students. The main attention is paid to Ukrainian-English/English-Ukrainian dictionaries. As a result it is possible to enrich the register and vocabulary lexicon as well as the research is connected with the selection and accumulation of lexis, presentation of vocabulary entry. All processes are interconnected and it is required to follow the lexicography rules of dictionary compiling. The basis of any dictionary consists of register but the examined electronic dictionary contains agricultural terms and each word of register has its own vocabulary entry with certain structure. The primary volume of the electronic dictionary register has been determined and the form of vocabulary entry has been proposed. The register lexicon selection methods have been studied. The translation problems with word combinations, abbreviations and words without direct equivalents have been solved through their correct presentation in the vocabulary entry. |
