Abstract

Evolution of farming systems in Ukraine The theoretical, practical, methodological and technological foundations of farming systems are outlined; evolutionary development of farming systems and their main components - crop rotation, tillage, fertilization. Agro-technical, agro-economic and agro-ecological justification of the systems and their main links is presented in relation to the modern philosophical understanding of the content of the farming system as a scientific category, a biosphere paradigm of nature management. The historical, social and economic prerequisites for the emergence and development of the doctrine of agricultural systems are revealed; comprehensively substantiated regularities of the evolution of farming systems; the evolution of agricultural tools for mechanical soil cultivation and ways of using land resources, methodological principles of farming systems, theories of regulating the production process of agrophytocenoses and reproduction of soil fertility are highlighted.
