| Abstract: | Клінічно у хворих на дирофіляріоз собак спостерігали пригнічення, кашель, важке дихання, відмову від корму, збільшення черева, іктеричність кон'юнктиви. При аускультації виявили шум під час систоли. Пульс був слабким. Відмічали аритмію. Спостерігали набряки, слоновість кінцівок, нервові явища, внаслідок інтоксикації розвивалися гемолітична анемія та лейкоцитоз. Лікування з використанням івермектину в дозі 1 мл на 10 кг маси тіла внутрішньом‘язово, 0,9 % розчину натрію хлориду внутрішньовенно крапельно, дексаметазону внутрішньовенно, гепарину підшкірно та доксоцикліну виявилося ефективним і призвело до відновлення клінічного стану та гематологічних показників у собак за дирофіляріозу без ускладнень. |
| Description: | Clinically, patients with heartworm disease in dogs observed depression, cough, severe breathing, refusal to feed, abdominal enlargement, icteric conjunctiva. At auscultation revealed noise during systole. The pulse was weak. Arrhythmia was noted. Edema, elephantiasis of the limbs, nervous phenomena due to intoxication were observed hemolytic anemia and leukocytosis developed. Treatment with the use of ivermectin in a dose of 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight intramuscularly, 0.9% sodium chloride solution intravenously, dexamethasone intravenously, heparin subcutaneously, and doxocycline were found effective and led to the recovery of the clinical condition and hematological indicators of dogs for heartworm disease without complications. |
