| Abstract: | У статті висвітлено проблемні питання реалізації права на екологічну інформацію. Встановлено, що для ефективної його реалізації недостатньо опосередкованого закріплення у законодавстві. Реалізація права на екологічну інформацію в Україні має відбуватись в контексті розбудови інформаційного суспільства, що передбачає перехід на більш високий рівень екологічної свідомості в результаті вільного інформаційного обміну. Доведено необхідність дотримання права громадян на доступ до екологічної інформації, яке є невід’ємною частиною права на екологічну інформацію. |
| Description: | The article highlights the problematic issues of realization of the right to environmental information. It is established that indirect consolidation in the legislation is not enough for its effective implementation. The realization of the right to environmental information in Ukraine should take place in the context of building an information society, which involves the transition to a higher level of environmental awareness as a result of free information exchange. The need to respect the right of citizens to access environmental information, which is an integral part of the right to environmental information, has been demonstrated. |
