Description:	In order to predict the success of the introduction and expansion of the cultural range of North American species of the genera Juglans L. and Populus L., a comparative characterization of the climatic conditions of North America and the Forest-Steppe and Steppe of Ukraine. Methods. To display and compare the characteristics of the climate natural range at the point of introduction used the method of constructing climatic diagrams developed by G. Walter and modified A. Borchidi.
