| Abstract: | У статті відображено модель формування компетентності в анотативному і реферативному видах письмового перекладу науково-технічних текстів аграрного профілю у процесі самостійної позааудиторної роботи із застосуванням електронного кейсу. Електронний кейс призначений для студентів IV курсів і створений на базі навчального середовища Moodle, яке має багато можливостей та засобів для організації процесу навчання майбутніх перекладачів. Визначено такі ознаки моделі, як смислова спрямованість, функціональність, фахова орієнтація, системність і поетапність навчання. Формування компетентності відбувається у два етапи: підготовчий та основний. Основний етап поділяється на три підетапи: формування навичок, розвиток умінь та редагування текстів перекладу. Представлено структуру електронного кейсу: модель організації навчального процесу, пояснювальна записка, довідково-інформаційний матеріал, форум, глосарій термінів та система вправ. |
| Description: | Introduction. Nowadays the role of translators has increased and it requests new methods of teaching future translators. In the modern teaching practice the electronic learning becomes more popular and can be implemented in translation teaching. It makes the learning process well organized, controlled by the teacher and easily used and planned by students themselves. Purpose. To describe and present the competence formation model in gist and abstract translation of scientific agrarian texts in the process of self-managed extracurricular work by an electronic case and its peculiarities as well as its components and way of using, according to the defined competence formation model’s stages. Methods. Foreign and Ukrainian scientists works dedicated to teaching translation problems were used to analyze the existing translation competence formation models and their definitions of the model’s competence. Results. Methods and prerequisites of linguistic competence in abstract and gist translations within our system of exercises have complemented the electronic case, the primary teaching tool, developed in accordance with the principles of personal-active approach. Electronic case is developed for fourth-year students and based on the learning environment Moodle. This enables applying the different types and kinds of exercises and tasks provided by appropriate options. This form of educational process organization determines the improvement of the student’s skills in abstract and gist translations by the individual learning trajectory. The following model features have been defined: semantic orientation, functionality, professional orientation, systemacy and phased learning. The process of competence formation is organized in two stages: preliminary stage and basic one. The main stage is divided into three sub-stages: development of skills, formation of competence and translation editing. The structure of the electronic case has been presented. It includes educational process model, explanatory note, reference and information material, forum, glossary of terms and system of exercises. Conclusion. Identifying the peculiarities of competence formation model in gist and abstract translation and defining the stages of competence formation model, will serve as the basis for checking the competence formation method in gist and abstract translation |
