Abstract:	Aspects of underlying memory system in translation processing have been studied. Different views on how input and working memory interact, the extent to which some input is processed on-line by long – term memory during translation processing have been analysed. Three principles for input processing suggested by the prominent researcher have been discussed.
Description:	Вивчено аспекти функціонування пам’яті у процесі здійснення перекладу. Проаналізовано різні погляди щодо взаємодії інпуту і робочої пам’яті, рівень, до якого інпут переробляється за допомогою довготривалої пам’яті у процесі здійснення перекладу. Розглянуто три принципи переробки інпуту, запропонованих відомими дослідниками.
