| Короткий огляд (реферат): | В статті розкрито роль та значення фольклористичних праць Івана Франка в українському казкознавстві. Враховуючи масив наукових публікацій вченого, звернуто увагу саме на його студії української народної казки. Простежено участь І. Франка у становленні культурно-історичної, історико-порівняльної та філологічної фольклористичних шкіл, формуванні методичних принципів вивчення та записування народних казок. Також здійснено огляд наукових статей, що торкаються проблем теорії казки та збірників казок, упорядкованих І. Франком. Приділено увагу його компаративістським дослідження міжнародних казкових мотивів, мандрівним сюжетам малої народної епіки. Визначено методологічні принципи українського казкознавства, що сформувалися під впливом ідей вченого та встановлено перспективи подальших досліджень української народної казки. |
| Опис: | The figure of Ivan Franko, a theorist of Ukrainian folklore and psychoanalyst of the spiritual heritage of our people, is definitely noticeable in the process of studying Ukrainian tales. The historian- ethno-linguistic work of the scientist is a serious ground for considering many modern problems of being, genesis and methodology of folk tales. In this article there have been revealed the role and importance of folklore works of Ivan Franko in Ukrainian folklore. The attention has been paid to the participation of the scientist in the development of cultural and historical, comparative historical and philological folkloristic schools, in the formation of methodological principles of studying and recording fairy tales. The review of scientific articles that deal with the problems of the theory of a fairy tale and fairy tale collections arranged by Ivan Franko has been made. Attention is paid to his comparative study of international fairy-tale motifs, wandering plots of small folk epic. It confirms the existence of common European stories among Ukrainians, which are marked by ethnic local color peculiarities, the original composition, the expansion or narrowing of the number of characters, etc. In particular, this is the motif of the blooming of a dry stick, the story of the vile princess who was taking over by the bridegroom, about Truth and Falsehood, about the acts of Solomon, Christ and the Saints, a journey to the Sun, a groom-dream, a fool’s fox, etc. His collection of animal tales “When the beasts were talking” became an example of an academic publication. In it, in addition to folk tales in the author’s wording, there was a thorough preface. In it, the author presented methodological principles, which guided the conclusion of the publication: authenticity, popularity, the presence of stories from other peoples. Also at the end of the publication there is a thematic set of plots which allowed covering for the study of a wide range of samples. There have been determined methodological principles of Ukrainian folklore and perspectives for further research. The approach proposed by Ivan Franko to the problem of the existence and distribution of fairy tales and motifs is also used by modern folklorists. The scientist’s views on folk and literary tales remain open to the research. Despite the numerous articles and monographs on this issue, the analysis of I. Franko’s works, new reading gives prospects for the further development of Ukrainian language science, namely, methodology. Even the episodic appeal of the researcher to the studios over folk tales, in the end, constitutes a large array of reviews of fairy tales (in particular, these are fairy tales about animals and social and domestic). The opinions expressed by scientists are supported not only by the historical fact of the international level, but also by the theoretical filling of the lacunae in folklore. This is an invaluable legacy and needs constant publicity through academic publications. |
