| Abstract: | У статті досліджується правовий статус реєстрового козацтва та його місце в тодішній соціальній структурі. Аналізуються думки дореволюційних, радянських, сучасних і зарубіжних вчених з даної проблематики. Встановлено належність до соціального стану реєстрових козаків та їх правовий статус. Досліджено відокремлення реєстрового козацтва від запорізького козацтва. Розглянуто причини надання офіційного правового статусу реєстровим козакам. |

Analyzes of pre-revolutionary thought, government, modern and foreign scholars on this subject. Established belonging to the social status of registered Cossacks and their legal status. Studied the separation of the registered Cossacks from zaporizhzhya Cossacks. Causes of issue of the legal status of registered Cossacks. |
