Abstract: На основі аналізу літературних джерел і гербарних матеріалів проаналізовано історію вивчення видів роду Salix L. в Україні. На сьогодні в Україні росте 43 види і 11 гібридів верб, в тому числі 25 автохтонних видів, віднесених до 20 секцій. Подальшого поглибленого вивчення на популяційному рівні потребують S. alpina Scop., S. herbacea L., S. lapponum L., S. myrtilloides L., S. retusa L., S. starkeana L., занесені до Червоної книги України. Необхідно також вивчити особливості розмноження і вирощування цих видів у культурі. Слід звернути увагу на енергетичні та фармацевтичні властивості автохтонних верб та дослідити можливості створення з них промислових плантацій.
Description: Research history of Salix L. genus species in Ukraine was studied on the basis of literature data analysis and herbarium. Nowadays 43 species and 11 hybrids of willows are grown in Ukraine and besides there are 25 indigenous species referred to 20 sections. Furthering-depth study on the population level require S. alpina Scop., S. herbacea L., S. lapponum L., S. myrtilloides L., S. retusa L., S. starkeana L., listed in the Redbook of Ukraine. It should also explore the features of propagation and cultivation of these species in culture. You should also pay attention to the energy and pharmaceutical properties of in digenous willows and explore the possibility of creating one industrial plantation.
