The financial mechanism for supporting development of agriculture in Ukraine

Abstract

The goal of the research is to present the financial system for supporting the development of agriculture in Ukraine and characterize the instruments for improving its efficiency. Particular attention is paid to the formation of financial resources and their use in agriculture of Ukraine. The article refers to financial sources for economic entities such as equity, liabilities, and non-repayable funds. A survey method was applied to identify the level of access of farmers to agricultural loans and determine the main constraints for credit extension in agriculture. It is argued that the formation of an effective financial mechanism for the development of the agrarian sector of Ukraine implies the application of complex financial tools, techniques, and methods for attracting sufficient funding from various sources.
