Challenges and prospects of European integration of Ukraine: analysis of human rights legal regulation

Abstract

The theses consider the protection of human rights as the main legal value of the EU, which has a primary ideological significance. It is determined that in the context of Ukraine's European integration, commitment to the legal values ​​of the Union, improvement of its own system of human rights protection should become important geopolitical and socio-cultural tasks for our state, since according to the criteria for accession to the EU, only a state with an appropriate level of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms can become a full member of the European Union.
