Abstract: Дирофіляріоз є поширеною інвазією серед домашніх собак і часто перебігає у вигляді мікстінвазій. Сезонна динаміка дирофіляріозу характеризується піком інвазії у весняно-літній період року. Найбільш сприйнятливими породами є кавказька вівчарка, німецька вівчарка а також метиси і безпородні собаки.
Description: Heartworm disease is a common infestation among domestic dogs and often occurs in the form of mixed infestations. The seasonal dynamics of heartworm disease is characterized by the peak of invasion in the spring-summer period of the year. Most Susceptible breeds are the Caucasian Shepherd Dog, the German Shepherd Dog, as well as crossbreeds and purebred dogs.
