Abstract

Contamination of soils with heavy metals, pesticides, and radioactive elements, which have high toxicity and the ability to accumulate, poses a significant danger to humans and other living organisms. We conducted an agrochemical and agroecological survey of the soils of the BDAU educational and research farm and the adjacent territories of the city of Bila Tserkva for the presence of pollutants. A decrease in the content of organic matter, an increase in soil acidity, pollution by heavy metals, and the presence of pesticide residues cause concern.
