| Abstract: | Смерть – припинення всіх життєвих функцій організму. Наука, яка вивчає причини й умови, що призводять до смерті, динаміку вмирання, називається танатологією. В залежності від причини, яка викликає смерть, розрізняють природну та передчасну смерть. Природна або фізіологічна смерть є логічним завершенням життєвого циклу та настає без втручання сторонніх причин. |
| Description: | Death is the termination of all vital functions of the body. The science that studies the causes and conditions leading to death, the dynamics of dying, is called thanatology. Depending on the cause of death, natural and premature death are distinguished. Natural or physiological death is the logical end of the life cycle and occurs without the intervention of extraneous causes. |
