Rape pollen beetle: Range, bioecological features, harmfulness and protection measures: Review

Abstract

In the course of the literature analysis, the authors paid special attention to the morphological, biological and ecological features of rapeseed pollen both in Ukraine and abroad; the authors concluded that despite the large number of literature sources devoted to rapeseed pollen beetle, there are still a number of its biological and ecological features that are closely related to the protective measures to combat it, and these measures have not yet been fully clarified. The data obtained by entomologists from different countries on the harmfulness of rapeseed pollen and its economic importance are quite contradictory and require experimental confirmation.
