dc.descriptionThe article is dedicated to the essence of professional and pedagogical competence of teachers of physical education of a higher educational institutions. Its relevance lies in the implementation of modern directions of increasing the efficiency of the educational process, which necessitates the need to focus the efforts of teachers of higher education institutions on comprehensive self-improvement, which envisages the enrichment of their own scientific and methodological experience, individual psychological growth, maintenance of physical capacities. Attention is drawn to the components of the professional and pedagogical competence of a teacher of a higher educational institution and their difference in professional direction. It is noted that the organization of the educational process in the discipline of physical education has a number of specific features. The importance of the widespread use of health-saving technologies in the teaching of physical education is emphasized in the article. The contents of the basic concepts are also disclosed. The difference between the essence and structure between the content of the concept of “competence” and “competence” is clarified. As a result of the analysis of scientific works it is revealed that the term “competence” is interpreted as the competence of a teacher of a higher educational institution, including a set of scientific and methodological knowledge, professional skills, as well as value orientations necessary for the implementation of the educational process. It is confirmed that the competence of the teacher of higher education is an integrative formation of personality, which determines the willingness to implement specialized knowledge, skills, as well as the desire for continuous personal and professional self-improvement, focused on the implementation of effective educational social process. It is established that the essence of professional-pedagogical competence of a teacher of a higher educational institution is characterized by the presence of such basic components as: special, methodical and psychological-pedagogical. The above components are aimed at the effective use of health-saving technologies in the educational process.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractСтаття присвячена сутності професійно-педагогічної компетентності викладачів фізичного виховання вищих навчальних закладів. Актуальність статті полягає у реалізації сучасних напрямів підвищення ефективності навчально-виховного процесу, де важливу роль відіграє компетентний працівник освітньої галузі. Звертається увага на складові професійно-педагогічної компетентності викладачів фізичного виховання, які мають специфічні особливості та потребують дослідження. Розкрито зміст базових понять. У процесі наукових досліджень виявлено, що термін «компетенція» тлумачиться як певне коло знань, умінь і навичок, необхідних для здійснення відповідної діяльності. Підтверджено, що термін «компетентність» визначається як готовність до використання набутого теоретичного та практичного досвіду, а також прагнення постійного самоудосконалення. Встановлено, що сутність професійно-педагогічної компетентності викладача вищого навчального закладу характеризується наявністю таких основних складових, як спеціальна, методична та психолого-педагогічна компетентність, які спрямовані на ефективне використання здоров’збережувальних технологій у навчально-виховному процесі.uk_UA
