Abstract: Бабезіоз собак поширений по всій території Волинської області, а також у місті Луцьку, де ми проводили дослідження у ветеринарному центрі «Лапа». Собаки інвазуються Babesia canis по всій території міста, але максимальна кількість хворих тварин відмічається в крупних населених пунктах, оскільки в них найбільша концентрація тварин, які можуть бути джерелом інвазії. Ми відмітили, що бабезіозом хворіють собаки усіх порід, але найбільше мисливських і службових, які частіше потрапляють в біотопи кліщів. Тяжче хворіють молоді тварини (молодші 12 місяців) і старі.
Description: Babesiosis in dogs is widespread throughout the territory of the Volyn region, as well as in the city Lutsk, where we conducted research at the Lapa veterinary center. Dogs Babesia canis are infested throughout the city, but the maximum number of patients of animals is noted in large settlements, since they have the largest population concentration of animals that can be a source of infestation. We noted that dogs of all breeds are affected by babesiosis, but the most hunting and service, which more often fall into tick biotopes. They are more seriously ill young animals (younger than 12 months) and old ones.
