dc.descriptionThis study analyzes the concept of rain and the most important component of the weather concept. The concept of "rain" is examined through the prism of phraseology and paremiology of the English language. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the English language contains a large number of phraseological units and proverbs containing the concept of "rain", which proves its relevance for native speakers of English. In addition, the cognitive features associated with the predominantly negative perception of this concept have been identified.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractУ даному дослідженні аналізується концепт «rain», найважливіша складова концепту «weather». У даній роботі концепт «rain» розглядається крізь призму фразеології та пареміології англійської мови. В результаті проведеного аналізу вдалося встановити, що в англійській мові міститься велика кількість фразеологізмів і паремій, що містять концепт «rain», що доводить його актуальність для носіїв англійської мови. Крім того, виявлені когнітивні риси, пов'язані з переважно негативним сприйняттям даного концепту.uk_UA
