| Abstract: | У статті досліджується місцеве самоврядування як фундаментальна основа демократичного розвитку територіальних громад в Україні. Проаналізовано конституційно-правові засади функціонування місцевого самоврядування, його роль у забезпеченні участі громадян в управлінні місцевими справами та формуванні ефективної системи публічної влади. Особливу увагу приділено розвитку форм прямої демократії на місцевому рівні, зміцненню інституційної спроможності громад та підвищенню їх фінансової самостійності. Визначено основні виклики та перспективи розвитку місцевого самоврядування в умовах євроінтеграції України |
| Description: | The article examines local self-government as a fundamental basis for the democratic development of territorial communities in Ukraine. The constitutional and legal foundations of local self-government, its role in ensuring citizen participation in local governance, and in forming an effective system of public authority are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the development of forms of direct democracy at the local level, strengthening the institutional capacity of communities, and increasing their financial autonomy. The main challenges and prospects for the development of local self-government in the context of Ukraine’s European integration are identified |
